do you want to be more involved with any of UFAN’s events, programs, or initiatives? We have an awesome volunteer program for individuals or groups of any age or size!
Many of our ongoing opportunities require as little as five hours per month and can be completed from home, allowing volunteers to participate in multiple opportunities at the same time.
Director of Teen Group
Help coordinate events and education for teens living with food allergies and/or an eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorder. This position is a division of the Utah Food Allergy Network and has a position on the board of directors.

Director of Eosinophilic Support
Help coordinate events and education for individual and families diagnosed with an eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorder. This position is a division of the Utah Food Allergy Network and has a position on the board of directors.
Trunk or Treat Event (Saturday, October 26, 2019)
Help with food-free Trunk or Treat event as an opportunity for food allergy families to meet and mingle during the Halloween season in a safe environment. Coordinate event needs and assignments in conjunction with UFAN board.
Holiday Event (Thursday, December 7, 2019)
Help with food-free Holiday event as an opportunity for food allergy families to meet and mingle during the holiday season in a safe environment. Coordinate event needs and assignments in conjunction with UFAN board.
Help coordinate fundraising activities, such as silent auctions and restaurant fundraisers.
Recruit volunteers and match them with opportunities at events or in ongoing positions.
Work with doctors, media, and other members of the community to strengthen ties and communicate information about the UFAN organization and the needs of the food allergy community.
Develop relationships with new and existing sponsors. Contact sponsors in advance of events to request/promote sponsorship or exhibitor opportunities.
Design flyers, posters, and other materials as needed.
Create social media posts to advertise events, campaigns and other initiatives. Monitor closed Facebook group activity and public Facebook comments.
Write proposals to apply for financial grants.
Keep track of the budget using QuickBooks and prepare budgets for use by the UFAN board.
